FRIDAY-- 30 DEC. 06-- ANOTHER LIGHT WIND DAY
We headed out in the midafternoon hoping for some decent winds, but find only a few puffs.

We managed to sail out toward Alcatraz, basking in hazy sunshine..

...as was the city behind us.

The Golden Gate Bridge was standing out against the almost flat baby blue waters of the bay.

We managed to sail just past Aquatic Park, enjoying the view of Russian Hill in partial sun and shadow.

The sun dropped behind the Presidio Hills as we ghosted along.

The city was now enjoying the last few rays of the sun on the tops of taller buildings.

The city lights were coming up as we ghosted home.
Not a great outing-- but it was nice to be out there anyway.
