SATURDAY 3 FEB. 07-- MORNING RACING-- NO WIND OUTING
Saturday late morning, a fleet of race boats was sailing up the cityfront in a very light breeze.

Here's one group of boats just ghosting along.

Here's another group....

....and another....

...and another.
We headed out for a sailing outing with Michael, and two new mates, Serge and Joey, from sfsailing.com, put up full canvas and headed out into the central bay.

We made a little bit of progress to the east in the beginning, with the city in haze.
Then the current took over and we were drifting westward with the waxing ebb current.
We drifted with the current for an hour or so, hope for some wind to come up, but none was materializing, so we turned on the engine and headed back toward home port.
